About Me

Assistant Professor at Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, TU Delft.

Vice-Chair of Design Research Society.

Managing/Senior Editor of Designing.

Associate Editor of Journal of Human-Technology Relations.

Director of Justice by Design lab.

Co-lead of Healthy Start Ambition “First 1000 Days.”

My current research investigates designers’ contributions to social justice in emerging technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence) through form-giving practices. Specifically, I develop conceptual frameworks for designing technology-mediated human freedom, drawing on the Hegelian concept of mutual recognition.
